Notification of Race
 

Scheduled for May 17 and 18, 2008. Catamaran regatta on Long Island Sound. This is an open regatta for beach cats of up to 21 feet.  Separate starts if sufficient class registration for Hobie classes, Fomula 18’s, Nacra 20’s, and Open Class with Portsmouth handicap numbers. Total of 3 to 5 races scheduled per day.

ENTRY FEE: $40.00 per boat, includes all association fees. Three trophies per division. NO PRE-REGISTRATION necessary. On-line(Before May 7) or on-site registration on Saturday, May 17,

  • No visiting boats before Friday, May 16 without prior approval.

  • No camping on grounds, however Hammonasset State park is only five minutes away.

All regatta activities are staffed by volunteers.

To consider:
  • Personal safety equipment including life vests are mandatory
  • A review of the location of rocks off shore is strongly encouraged
  • No pets in the park
