Joe Manganello Inaugural Memorial Regatta Web Page

Well, the regatta was a great success! We had very breezy weather and clear skies on the first day (gusting to 35mph!!) so it was a wild day on the water, WITH MANY capsizing!!  It added to the excitement.  The second day was much more manageable, with 8-12mph breezes, and everyone raced well!

The organizing committee wants to recognize all of the sponsors who helped to make the event a success.

Margi Goldstein's pictures (above) are available on CD or for e-download (all of 485 of them!) for a requested $15 donation.

100% of proceeds from Margi's pictures goes toward the regatta fund.
E-mail margirex@snet.net for details.
Make donations payable to Madison Beach and Recreation.

Pictures are also available from

20% of Adam Coppola's proceeds go toward the regatta fund.

First Day's Racing comments now on the BLOG!!  Pictures are soon to follow!

Many of the spectators have inquired about the town's sailing school, how they may get involved and how to learn how to sail.  The town offers sailing instruction.  It's not just for kids!!

If you are interested in sailing J-boats and catamarans (our favorite) we urge you to sign up through Madison Beach and Recreation's through the
